Last year it seemed unfortunate that they were finishing this pub for a grand opening just when everything shut down for the pandemic. We finally got there Fourth of July weekend, with a big party (my treat).
The weekend turned out to be a Brew Kettle over-exposure, as I also had two special edition White Rajahs and an oddball Brew Kettle coffee laced pale ale all around the time I went to the new-to-me Mentor restaurant. We all sampled a variety of brews - belgians, stouts, IPAs, even a lager. Clearly, they have variety.
We all had dinner (including my two grandkids). I had the signature (?) Bar B Que Spaghetti, which I had heard wasn't great, and, especially served not very warm, it lived up to that. None of our group was impressed by the food, but we ate and weren't hungry. The service was not strong. You never know, maybe they meant to do that - sometimes restaurants don't emphasize service, but it is a sit down, take your order place. I think they were just newish and not well trained.
Overall, it was a disappointment, and we might be back, but not if we can think of anywhere better to go. Too bad, it is just a couple miles from home.

Has the look and feel of a chain brewpub without the people... large space on the corner of a shopping center next to the cinema. Spacious high-ceilinged room with U-shaped bar opposite the entrance that seats 30, many tables on the floor, and patios along two outside wall. For all this space one barmaid was the only staffing. 20 beers on tap, half house, half guest. I had the New Chicken Sandwich which was fine. I did not try the food.
