The design reveals it: This beer comes from Bavaria! The specialty from the house of Egerer is balanced and tasty, with a good and surprisingly high amount of aromatic and bitter hops that give the beer a bittersweet character. The color is golden yellow, with a fine white foam crown. To quote the Brewmaster: "It's like sunshine!"

Has a medium light body with about medium carbonation.
Aroma is grain,earty,grass, citrus, bread
Taste is mildly sweet, malt, grain, doughy yeasty sweet bread.
Got this in an advent calendar from Costco. it wasn't my favorite but I think this would be a good introduction to people who want to try something other than Coors or bud. It is definitely a step up

Poured from the can into a Libbey style pilsner glass.

Beaming lemon brass yellow and crystal clear looking. Great noticeable mix of slow and pinhead like rising carbonation. Head creation is a big three big bleach white looking tall amount of rocky foam and retention. Holds with big clingy lace and lots of staying power. Excellent looking beer.

Clean aroma with a light touch of bready malts, and mild spicy herbal hop character. Hints a little sticky and syrupy but not terribly.

Palate takes a bit of a different turn. Quite a bit of noticeable sweetness on the nose which seem to take away from the bready sensing flavor. Hints a little slick and syrupy in palate feel, and a bit unexpected almost adjunct like lager sweetness in flavor. Finish is quite neutral with not much to comment on in that respect either.

Interesting, but does come across a bit mass market lager like in flavor.

L:. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S:. Sweet cereal malt, with a hint of note and a light to medium floral hop, smells a little sweet.

L:. Grain, with a small bit of sweetness and a bit of earthiness, followed by a slight herbal bitterness. Not a very strong taste.

F:. Not quite as crisp as expected.

O:. Not a very exciting beer, there are better options out there.

CBAC #14 another helles.

I like this beer, pale in color, slight but lingering head, not a lot of aroma, but an interesting nutty, bitter almond flavor. Tasty.

The summers of '69 and '70 I spent a month each year in Straubing, about 15 km away from where this beer was made. I got to know the flavor of Bavaria and this beer sort of reminds me of that. If they made it back then I may have even had a glass.

This pours a pretty yellow with medium bubbles. The aroma is faintly of finishing hops and malts. The taste is delicate malty with hops. Very refreshing. There is just a bit of evidence this has been in a can for a while.

Recommended. Drink it before it goes bad.

Poured from 50 cL can into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a very light and very clear golden yellow hue with active carbonation jets fueling a 1-2 inch bubbly/frothy white head with excellent retention.
S: Lightly sweet dry cracker malt with hints of fruity esters.
T: Follows aroma exactly.
M: Very light body. Dry, crisp, and refreshing.
D: Decent session beer. Best after exercise in the sun.

Can from the Advent pack for last year. The can is optimistically dated with an Exp of 5/2021.

Pleasing aroma. Not overly strong but nice enough. Grain dominates with herbal hops as well.

Clear and golden, with the pilsner glass nicely showing off the rising bubbles to the 1/2 inch white head. The head recedes fairly quickly, but the nice-looking bubbles continue. What lacing there is slides down into the beer in a few minutes.

As with the aroma, pleasant German lager taste. Mouth feel is smooth. Bready malts and noble herbal hops (although lightly present). Nice drinking and enjoyable. Just the barest hint of bittering on the finish. The finish is more malty and bready than crisp.

Mouth presence is moderate on the feel, but thin in the body.

Overall, nothing offensive. It's enjoyable to drink with plenty of flavor for a beer which is kind of mid-way between a European Pale Lager and a German Helles. This would be a higher rated very flavorful Pale Lager, but as a Helles, it is very ordinary.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thin film covering a little more than 70% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass.

S: Light to moderate aromas of cereal grain + cracker malts with very light amounts of grainy sweetness. Light aromas of grassy hops. Slightly heavier than light aromas of lager yeast.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of cereal grain + cracker malts with very light amounts of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there is a very light flavor of grassy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a relatively clean finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a decently crisp + clean mouthfeel. Nothing special about this one - reminds me of a generic Euro Pale Lager or American Lager rather than a Helles.
