It's a good beer. Very crisp, refreshing and clean. Used to be my go to beer because I can get it for less than 6 bucks for 4x16oz cans. It's always consistent and very drinkable. But these days I usually get Konig Pilsner. Interestingly enough, they taste very similar. It seems they are owned by the same company. Everything is very similar, packaging, pricing, taste. I just finished a can of Konig and popped Bitburger, it's very similar and hard to tell them apart.

There's nothing much to say about this beer. It's just a solid pilsner that you can drink all day while BBQing or watching football game. It's one of those beers where I don't need to think twice to get it. If I don't feel like getting anything particular, like an IPA or stout or some other style, I'll gladly get a Bitburger.

Pours a straw gold. Smells of malts and toast. Taste follows the nose with subtle fruits. Light body with medium carbonation. Overall its an ok beer but I wouldn't buy again.

11.2 oz. Brown bottle (out of boxed 6pack), poured into Tipping Point pub glass.

Light clear golden appearance, nice white head. Fades off to just a lining ring pretty quickly.

Smells fresh (thanks to proper packaging), nice and malty, grassy, some farm hay, slightly floral - very fine.

Taste follows aromas, and just as clean and fresh, perfectly carbonated for enjoying at a quick pace. Clean dry finish.

Feels nice and light, but with enough body to satisfy the desire for a real beer.

Happily satisfied that its taste lives up to the reputation. Best traditional import Pils I've had in a long time, if not ever.

Every beer lover should try this.

My expectations were pretty low, but this was a solid way to exceed it. Glad I got to try it because this is probably my new import go to offering in a pinch

Poured into a narrow glass: color is clear straw, transparent, moderate effervescence, super bright white head.

Smell is light toast, dry cracked grain, earth, dry hops.

Taste is more graininess, light toast, subtle grape like flavor, earth and grass hops though subtle.

Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, crisp, dry.

Overall a good, crisp pilsner, flavor and aroma are a touch lighter than many but still good.

Bitburger canned on 11/29 poured into a shaker pint

A: Bright gold yellow body with perfect clarity. soapy huge bubbled white head that settles to a film.

S: light floral hops and gentle bready doughy hops.

T: Nice soft doughy breads led by some floral herbal hops.

M: Smooth nice carbonation light crisp but clings to the tongue just when you want to savor it.

O: This beer is fantastic, it's hops are lush and floral but it's bready doughy body comes in and the beer is so balanced.

First had at FoodLoop, Europa Park, Germany, poured from 0,33l bottle, label stamped mindestans haltbar bis "06.11.18," into kölsch 0.2l stange. Been avoiding this one since '06 World Cup, but in its extreme dryness "ein Bit" actually manages to be rather enjoyable.

A pretty basic pilsner. It's light and easy drinkable (so easy I drink them too fast sometimes) and a good beer for it's style, just what I expected it to be.
