The beer pours a hazy gold color with a towering white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has an earthy clove scent along with a light wheat and pale malt aroma. It appears dry with some fruity yeast esters. The taste is average. It has a very dry, pale and wheat malt flavor that goes down slow with a slightly fruity/clove type finish. This is not the best tasting hefe out there. The mouthfeel is average also. It is a low bodied beer with a little too much CO2. This is not a very good beer. I generally like most hefes, but this one is just too dry and earthy for me.

The pour is a golden yellow with some orange tinge depending on where the light catches it. The aroma is quite muted but there is some typical banana & bubblegum in the nose when I really focus in on it. I agree with getting the lemon on the taste along with the usual banana & bubblegum flavors but they could be more pronounced, not to mention the spice notes are barely there as well. There is no date to be found on the bottle. All in all, this is really a lackluster hefeweizen. I'm a big fan of American & Belgium Wheat beers but a fresh & well made German Hefeweizen is the creme de la creme, so if your looking to get into the style don't let this beer put you off because things do get better. Cheers! B-

Golden pour with a huge white head. Slight lacing.
Aromas of dough, yeast, citrus (mostly lemon) hint of cloves.
Tasty sweet, molasses, lemon, pineapple, cloves.
Crisp, clean, slighty bitter.
Totally fabulous Wiessenbier. Try it, you'll like it!

Big wheat and coriander in aroma, with orange and a touch of bubblegum. There's a slight metallic character. Flavor is citrus dominant, with lemon and orange peel underlying a bready, wheat malt backbone. Coriander rounds out the finish. Perhaps more bready than most and not as characterful of yeast esters, but a solid offering. Light metallic notes emerge in flavor, which is the only detracting factor.

4.7% ABV per the label.
Pours a murky light yellow-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. No lacing on the drink down. Tiny chunks of sediment are seen floating around in the beer after the pour. Smell is of wheat, caramel, and fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with wheat, caramel, and slightly tart pineapple flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with an interesting tart pineapple flavor that I wasn't expecting.
Serving type: bottle.
