Bottle picked up from a restaurant in Berlin. Pours a golden colour with a small cream head. A malty and grainy aroma. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, bread, flower and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.

Snow white head that dissipates after a short time. the color is golden, straw (no green at all, the other reviewer is either colorblind or got a weird batch.) It's clear as a bell, pretty light but deep golden color.

Left -Not as malty as I like, still not bad, but not nearly as strong, either. Slightly hoppier notes.

Left - Front has a little bitterness, but also a tad tartness upfront. In the middle I get sweet Pils malt flavors, a tad tartness again but not verging into sourness. In the back, more tartness, but a lot more sweet Pils malt. Overall, not bad, much much better than a Fernsehbier, much more flavor present. Bitterness distinctly present but it veers into lots of tartness. Overall, it's a tad more bitter and has a bang-in tartness that would go great with food, anything salty, fried or grilled. In fact, it seems to be calling out for food to compliment, because on it's own it's not ready to stand on it's own.

Wonderfully thick and enveloping, having a heft that tells you it's a serious beer.

Eichhofener's Premium Pils is just that, PREMIUM, a definite cut above the rest, but not on par with it's nearby neighbor in the Regensburg area - Kneitinger's Edel-Pils, which is also just that, EDEL, "noble" and head and shoulders above the masses and even the king over the others.

Yellow color, almost greenish. Decente head, average (not very persistent).
Quite malty at the nose, with hints of hop. Nothing exciting, but decent.
At the taste, after a malt sweetness start, there is some good herbal hop, that persist in the aftertaste too.
Classic pilsner body. Quite clean.
