500ml brown glass bottle purchased at a Maxima hypermarket in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Somewhat honeyed, with an unremarkable light malt backbone and generic hopping.

Drinkable albeit forgettable schlock.

This helles has a bit of an edge, a sharp hoppy bitterness. Pours clear golden with short foamy head. Sparse carbonation. Aroma is malt and a touch of citrus. Taste is crackers, sourdough, hops and lemon. After working all day on a hot day, this tastes pretty darn good.

500ml bottle as seen in the pic. liked the artwork. Bought from Lamb’s Thriftway in Wilsonville OR. $4.59 Pours a clear golden colour with an initially large frothy white head. That fades down fast but leaves OK lace. Ok biscuity, malty aromas. Some sweet floral hop and a touch of dough. Not that bad really. Smooth malty semi-sweet taste..leaves a tinge of the hop in the last of the gulp. KInda weak compared even to the aroma. Its OK in the mouth.. bout average for style. OK drink, not the best but I can drink this

"Adler Koenig" means "eagle king" in german. Pours light-yellow beer with meager white head, leaving rapidly only a ring of froth. Fresh, very grainy nose of malts with a little bit of hops. Full body with pleasant delicate bitter finish. Moderate carbonation and very good common impression.

500ml bottle. Pokal glass. Intense honey aromas as cap is removed. Golden color, chill haze appearance. White froth, brief crown. Sulfur, green wood, green apples aromas, light acid on the back. Grainy & dried upfront with hints of honey. Medium body. Moderate to high carbonation. Dense texture. Low bitterness but harsh touch, malt tendency. Sweet finish & sweetish aftertaste. Boring.

500 ml. swing- yop bottle. Hazy golden colour, pours a medium head that dissipates soon, leaving a small ring. Taste of grains and citrus, herb. Crispy palate, medium body. Taste of grain, citrus and fruits, with a sour finish. Drinkable, but nothing special.

A mild and creamy helles with a hint of sweetness at the end. Beautiful, massive, white head.

A lovely companion for summer heatwaves.

There is a lot of good beer to be had in Germany...this isn't one of them. Despite the nice looking bottle, inside is something unremarkable. A thin euro-lager, this has only some weak malt/grain on the nose, a thin palate with a touch of off flavors, and a finish that is not particularly pleasant to me. Sorry, there is too much good beer to try this again.

Refreshing beer with lingering sweet aftertaste. Great label art work and that German clip and plastic cork to open.
