I was excited about BrewDog's original huge plant-pub-hotel in Ohio, and then they opened one in New Albany, where my daughter's family lives, and now there is even one here in Cleveburg. But going to the New Albany restaurant was a disappointment. It is a cool facility, with a nice outdoor section and a great location, five minutes from my daughter's house. Unfortunately, there isn't anything else I like about it. The best brews they had were guest taps and the selection was not impressive. The food is just OK and the service was less than stellar. Unfortunately my family already made plans to go there next week - I would rather go to Mellow Mushroom.

No kidding. We've been back three more times. This last visit (Saturday, April 28) everything was clicking well. They had a hazy IPA that was the best they have done so far, and generally just a nicer selection of brews. The food is still just ok with me, but my family loves it. Service was almost first rate. One order had to be redone. Highly recommended. I'm pretty sure reservations were required.
