An average attempt at an amber ale (do I get points for alliteration there?!). This ale is a pleasing looking amber/light coppery tone, although not much head. Nose is almost straight Mt. Hood hops, very slight malt to be detected. Flavour of hops also predominates, yet not much else there to balance them out, or compliment them. Not enough body for an amber for my liking, this one is pretty run-of-the-mill all the way around for the style.
