The colour is pale yellow with a tint of gold. The two finger white head is quite firm; it sinks slowly down leaving massive lacing.

The smell is sweet with lots of malt and notes of white bread. There are some touches of yeast and an anonymous bitterness.

The taste got some malty notes of white loaf, a very mild touch of yeast, some slowly growing bitterness. The aftertaste is mildly malty with some sweet hints.

The carbonation is medium strong, but the microscopic bubbles tickle the tongue. The liquid is a little bit on the watery side.

This beer from Gamla Slottskällans brewery is the one that most resembles the sweet Swedish macro lagers. Not very interesting. Go for the “Uppsala” instead.
