A clear brass colored beverage, small bubbles, a white head leaving good lacing.

The smell is fruity, brambles, pears, nuts and honey.

Sweet, dextrose, taste, ripe pears, fresh grass and nettles.

Medium high carbonation, fresh and smooth texture, a medium body and a perky dry finish.

A well hopped lager, a real good perky beer.

The smell is fresh and hoppy with a grand bitterness. Some sour notes that make me think of dry white wine, spicy hints and some grass and gooseberries.

The colour is gold (14 EBC), the liquid is clear. The finger thick head is off-white and compact. It sinks quickly leaving some lacing.

The taste is first quite light, but then the hops kick in. I notice some caramel malt, but the focus is clearly on the hoppy flavours. The bitterness is actually quite low, even for the style. Notes of mature apples and gooseberries, some dusty hints (not a bad thing, really). Hints of dry white wine and minerals. The short aftertaste is fresh and smooth with some light sour-earthy hints (house flavours?).

The carbonation is medium strong, small bubbles. The liquid is mid-smooth.

A very refreshing beer with an unusual hop profile!
