Remember drinking this beer and seeing it on their menu, but don't remember specifics about it. Just remember it being good.

A pint poured at Salmon Creek, an overcast Friday afternoon. Served along side a heaping bowl of chowder.

A: Light auburn, a very fine haze. Frothy head of about 1-finger, like dense white soapsuds. Long bands of cobwebbing lace. Not much carbonation, but a roil of bubbles after each sip.

S: Fair aroma of toasted bread, mild spice. Nothing bad just very mild.

T: Gentle honey and fruit sweetness atop a toasted dark breadcrust. Bitterness comes on in slow waves, a spicy and kinds burnt flavor.

M: On the thin side: body is light, but texture is smooth. Lasting bitterness.

D: Easy enough to drink, pairs well with a creamy chowder. Nothing to get too excited over, but a drinkable, likable brew.
