Pours more of a light brown with some haze; smallish head with some lace. Nose is just lightly hoppy and leans more English than American with some cardboard EKG/Fuggles notes. Some fruity malt in there as well, but not too impressive. Taste is not good. Somehow seems harsh and yet lacks bitterness and malty without malt flavor. The beer itself is 2.5 months old, but tastes old. Hard to describe...concrete?...but not in a horrible way...just not so good.

Nice amber colour pouring with a thin head. Fresh smell, a bit similar to a dark beer, followed by a light bitter taste and hops feeling.
Very good price/quality ratio on this one.

Clear brown color, rare white head. Quite malty aroma, strong spruce notes. Medium bitter, some sweetness underneath the bitter. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, dry finish.

Color: amber, clear, huge, slightly yellowish foam, durable, leaves a lot of decorations on the glass.
Aroma: pronounced malty, caramel, delicate fragrance of bread with a fireplace.
Taste again and caramel malt, the beer is slightly acidic, has quite a lot of the body. At the finish there are notes but only slight, hop flower.
Gentian not very high, grassy and dry.
Saturation average.

Clear amber color with a bit of off-white foam. Aroma is quite faint, just some earthy hops and bready malts. Taste follows. A bit of hop bitterness, earthy with some grapefruit pith, light caramel malts, nothing pops. Light body with good carbonation. Not really what you would expect nowdays from an IPA, it leans more towards an english style bitter.

A-in the bottle...
S-nice aroma of pine and earthy
M-Mouthfeel is medium to light
T-Sweet and bitter on the front and a smooth and light back end
O-This is a decent IPA, with a good balance between bitter and sweet.

Aroma of caramel, herbs, some pepper, subtle peppermint and grassy hops. Taste of caramel, herbs, subtle grapefruit, some pepper, orange and grassy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A short, grainy finish. Really disappointing for an IPA, more like a lager.

330ml bottle, 5.5%ABV, 35 IBUs.

A - Amber, clear, pouring a creamy offwhite thick head, which thins quickly to a 5mm thick lacing

S - real earthiness to the smell. Pine, mulch, cereal malts, mixed with citrus (orange).

T - Where are the hops? Mainly lightly toasted malts (almost like an english bitter), hint of brown sugar, with a faint kick of fruity hops and herbs towards the end. Short finish.

F - Slightly watery, dry texture, low carbonation.

O - dissapointing . Much more like a lager than an IPA. Not that its a bad beer so much, more that it wasn't anywhere near what I was expecting.
