500 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchased from the LCBO for $2.60 CDN. Pretty good price for a hefty 7.0% ABV tallboy, if it tastes ok, that's an added plus. Best before May 2018.

Appearance - A clear dark amber colored beer is poured. A finger and change of light beige head is poured and sticks around for a few minutes, reducing to a wispy thin layer on top. Some visible carbonation.

Smell - Pretty light, with some dark fruits and molasses, but in general just quite a bit of sweetness.

Taste - Thin flavors, some grain, hints of dark fruits and some apple, a slight smoky stale bitterness in the background. Molasses in the background too. Not immensely flavorful, but not a bad quaff either. Not as sweet as the nose thankfully. Alcohol hidden nicely.

Mouthfeel - Lighter bodied than average, carbonation is reasonably expressive. Lacks a little of the stickiness that some bocks have, but pretty decent.

Overall - Better than expected and good value. May be worth a try if bocks are your thing. By no means a world beater, but just flavorful enough to make this reasonably enjoyable.

Attractive coppery color with a big foam in the Blanche de Chambly Pilsner glass.

This is so sweet and has a pervasive perfumey note that makes me think of fabric softener. It doesn't smell like much, but that taste goes to the brain. Wet wood, metallic dregs from the canned peaches, green bean cooking water, yet weirdly spicy. It all ends with a slightly bitter dishwater taste.

Oh, this is such swill I have to go to the sink now. From the 500 ml can purchased at the Provincial Liquor Store in Ladner, BC.

Bit of a letdown. Its trying to be a Bock style of beer, IMHO despite what the label says. I believe the caramel flavor is fake, or "enhanced."The flavor dissipates across the palate nicely. Sweetness is adequate, low end of carbonation scale, and initial mouthful is pleasing and fruity. Just not rich enough in body and not satisfying enough. Note: I lived in Germany for about 10 years and have sampled many beers in this genre...so without trying to sound like a snob, I speak with some perspective.
