This syrupy sour ale shows its fruitiness with the rhubarb which goes stronger and stronger as it warms up. The sourness is high but balanced by a caramel sweetness. Thick mouthfeel, low carbonation. The red wine barrel aging brings some complexity to the mix.

Pours a hazy, golden-orange with a fluffy, white head. The aroma is odd, but not really in a bad way; fruity, lactic, perfume-like, with a hint of a smoke or dry, chalky smell. Taste is like a tart, rhubarb yogurt! It's tart like it should be without puckering sourness. The 8% alcohol is hardly noticeable. A very enjoyable beer.
