Appearance: Pours clear and golden colored with a very small head; webby lacing lingers, however
Smell: Vinous and leathery, with apricot and pear tones
Taste: The Brett is overpowering, with leathery funk dominating from start to finish; vinous white wine grape complemented by apricot and pear, through the middle, along with a bitter, apricot pit flavor that joins in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: This is one of those beers that just doesn't work for me; really funky and phenolic with the more interesting elements becoming overwhelmed

Bottled April 17th. Pours a clear gold with ample head of foam and great lacing. Smells funky, of pears and apricot, Saison spices, hint of tartness. Light tartness from the fruit, a bit of funk, spicy with pepper notes. Light bodied with the right level of carbonation. A bit strong and that’s noticeable but manageable. Very nice.

Picked up a 16 oz Mason Jar yesterday from the Craft Beer Quick Stop for $7.00. I have seen bombers of this as well for $15.99.
Beer poured amber orange with a little bit of a head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is earthy and phenolic with a bit of barnyard.
Taste definitely had a funky front, peppery, almost on the verge of sour from the oak aging.
Mouthfeel was heavier than what the traditional style is but was smooth.
Overall the brewer achieved the objective of a funky saison. A little too funky for my palate.

Rich hooked this one up... Waxed bottle with a flimsy brown paper label.
Shared with COOPMatt and DerekA while chatting about the state of local breweries.
Pours a hazy light orange.. good 1" head with nice retention and lacing.
Nose is lightly bretty with apricot esters and some background bubblegum phenols.
Really respectable Saison.. dry and light esters.. oak notes come with big hits of Oregon Pinot.. hints of barrel acidity on the finish ties things together.
I REALLY want some cellar bottles.

Bottled 4/17/17, on the clearance rack for 5 bucks.
A year and half collecting dust on the shelf aged this brett brew beautifully. There are still vibrant apricot and pear notes at the forefront, but I'm liking the heavier clove bite at the finish.

Pours clear, gold in color with 3/4 inch head. Taste is big white grape, apple, hay, and oak. Light bodied, high carbonation, and earthy. Makes for a really tasty, true to style, clean saison. I have other saisons I prefer, but this is good.
