A standard pale, nothing special here.
Edit - tried another bottle, perhaps it was fresher. Enjoyed this one more. I've had better but well done. Smooth and refreshing.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy dark amber that clears as it sits. One finger creamy off white foam that leaves a light lacing as it goes. There are some bubbles rising up.

Aroma: Light piney hops, grassy, some fruitiness in the background.

Taste: Mild hops giving a slight bitterness, piney citrus. Semi-dry finish.

Mouth feel: Medium light bodied with a smooth finish.

Overall: My personal opinion: A nice APA but nothing to get all excited about. If I am out at a restaurant or pub I would want to know about other offerings rather than just say "Give me a Mirror Pond".

L- Pours a hazy reddish orange with a thin foamy white head. Good lacing.
S- smells a malty, slightly citrus hop that is not overbearing.
T- Bitter hop with slight citrus. Malt is more present in this APA than most. The bitter sticks around. Nice balance around
F- As smooth as any APA Ive had. Bitter, yet crisp clean finish.
O- Great overall APA, in which the balance and mouthfeel is its best quality.

Reviewed after many years of enjoying, from a single (from a mixed pack) into an imperial pint
A: dark goldish amber, 2 finger tight head
S: cacade hops (grass, pine, citrus) balancing caramel and bready malts that might just barely win out.
t and m: great layers that follow the nose but are more compelling; little more fruit than in the nose; finishes medium dry; nice body for a pale.

Excellent pale ale - not too hoppy. Had this on tap in Fountainville PA. Very smooth and great flavor.

12oz bottle best by 2/18/14 poured into a pint glass
A: Light orange color, slightly hazy with a 1/2-finger head
S: Clean - light malt, light hops, a whiff of florals and just a hint sweet
T: So clean/pure. Floral, a hint earthy, with a malt backbone and a bit of hop bitterness for a fresh bite
M: Light-bodied and crisp
O: I would like this better if the aromas/flavors were a bit bolder. That being said, everything is so pure with not a flaw to be found even if on the light side this is not to be missed
