It's a beautiful seducing color, a warm inviting smell, a teasing mosaic taste, but what lost me was the high carbonation and thinness. I will not fault it as whole, it has more redeeming qualities that not and it's affordable and accessible. I suspect I'll swirl it around on my tounge again before dismissing it.

Black with almost no head (I pour gently, don't like beer on my 'stache). Good strong flavor with no bitterness at all. Very relaxing after dessert. My taste buds aren't fully trained, but I can taste a chocolatey aftertaste with this one.

Twelve ounce bottle copped from Pub 365 in Las Vegas. Pours a jet black ebony hue with minimal frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of chocolate and molasses. Similar overall flavor profile.

The appearance had a dark brown/close to black colored body with a two finger off-white/tan foamy head that rises a bit and then drops gently leaving some thick spider web lacing gracing the sides of the glass. The smell has a smokey, woody, espresso, and roasty combined fantastically. The taste took all of those previously mentioned aromas entering a sort of sweetness from some light chocolate and some light vanilla, dry espresso aftertaste, dry sticky finish. On the palate, she sat about a medium, semi-sessionable, carbonation is done very well for its style and for me, becomes slightly creamy. Overall, I would definitely have this one again.

This is a great and easily drinkable stout. Great balance of malts and hops. Nice flavors of chocolate, coffee and roasted malts.
