Jubelale brewed by Deschutes Brewery, with an ABV of 6.70% This winter warmer pours out a nice brown color with a nice off white head. Really digging this deep copper color of this brew. There is also a decent amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with roasted grains and malts. There is also a mild sweetness and hop bitterness in the smell as well. So far this is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You first pick up on the smooth roasted grains and malts, then the sweetness. There is a lot going on Jubelale. I can't get over how smooth this brew goes down, it is really hard to pick up on the 6.70% ABV in this brew. The roasted grains and malts make it for this brew. There is nothing overpowering about this winter warmer, it has a super nice balance to it. If you are looking for a full bodied brew for this winter, look this brew up. The month feel is Bold, Clean, Roasted, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Jubelale a 4.50 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity Deschutes Brewery, did a real nice job with this winter warmer.

Great winter ale, heavy enough to feel like an ipa but still sweet enough to be an ale.

Look- pours red with a slightly tan head. Gently poured half finger head that remains. Clear with no particulate. Not much effervescence that I see.
Smell- Carmel up front, brown sugar, some mild fruit and spice but I can't make it out specifically. No hops that I can smell. Mild alcohol.
Taste- malty, again some spice I can't place. Not much else though I have enjoyed the taste more in the past it isn't hitting it tonight.
Mouthfeel- Thin for what I feel it should be (a winter warmer), mild carbonation.
Overall- I have loved this beer in the past but not tonight. I will definitely buy it again. It may just be me tonight. I would like it a bit heavier.

Poured from 12oz bottle into standard pint glass. Enjoy by June 2nd, 2018.

L: Darker mahogany, half finger off-white head, average retention. good lacing.

S: Smells of rich malts and herbal hops. Faintly fruity.

T: Fruity for sure, with strong herbal hops that dry quickly, some toffee malts linger and a touch of cocoa. Nice.

F: Medium body, crisp, dry.

O: Good beer, solid winter warmer.
