Notes: An export style stout with roasted notes from dark malts with hints of coffee and noticeable cherry character. This dark beauty has a pronounced acidic profile with bourbon undertones.

Pours a deep black with a coffee-like brow head. The aroma is of deep barrel, and roasted notes - bourbon, vanilla, and a bit of a tang. Taste is an explosion of sour - lacto? - full of notes of plum and tart fruit in a good way - maybe a bit of unripe pit fruit like green apricot. This is followed by a deep wood character, and notes of vanilla from the bouron barrel. Mild carbonation, but the sour really defines the mouthfeel - lively acidity bursts as this rolls over the edges of my tongue demanding some pucker. Reminds me a bit of Alamanac's Bourbon Sour Porter (https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/24940/107188/), but amped waaaay up and with a much more defined wood character.
