Introducing Fresh Haze IPA, our newest IPA is hazy with a chance of obsession. The flavor explodes in your mouth with notes of orange citrus sweetness and a soft malt body. Carrying both citrus and tropical fruit from Mandarina, Amarillo and Simcoe hops…OJ for days.

Hazy orange color with a thick head with good retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of oranges and peaches.
Flavor with notes of resin, peaches, passion fruit, mango, oranges and white bread. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with perfect carbonation.

Only my second try at this brewery. The first was highly rated and I could barely stand it.
So let's see this one.
Pours a bit too malty orange for me, but let's not judge by the cover. It doesn't stop there though. The nose is overwhelming malt, with a slight detection of fruit. Yeah. Malt city. The taste is completely taken over by it and it's hard to tease it apart from anything else.
The end notes want to bring you cantaloupe with some dry bitterness and the latter is exactly what I feel about this beer. Sticky lips is all I have to show for it.
Not my style. I don't want to see or taste malt in my beer, unless it's well tucked away. I guess that's on me, not the brewery.

I don't really like hazy beers so why did I buy this? It's because the supermarket replaced the normal fresh squeezed with this, and the label is nearly identical. So now I have this hazy beer when I wanted the original fresh squeezed IPA. It's a normal hazy beer.

Hardly fair since I am not a big fan of this style of IPA. I find it to be drinkable, yet not a beer I would go out of my way to buy. It pours more yellow than amber and as the name indicates, hazy. It had a decent aroma. I can't put my finger on it, but I cannot exactly state why I am not that fond of this ale. Not my favorite.

Hazy orange/gold color with a decent creamy white foam head and some nice lacing.
The aroma is citrus, passion fruit, mango and ligt caramel malt.
The taste is tangerine, blood orange, lemon, passion fruit, mango, hints of stone fruit and a nice light caramel malt base, very nice, slight bitterness (grapefruit zest and pine) in the dry finish. Very nicely balanced.
The body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a very tasty hazy IPA, very refreshing and nicely smooth.

APPEARANCE: Cloudy orange-amber, with a thick haze of off-white suds. Foggy lace.

NOSE: Very tropical fruit aroma, with orange, pineapple, mango and tangerine notes.

TASTE: Big and juicy tropical hops, with a sturdy body and nice balance. Really a superlative hazy IPA.

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml 1 pint at 6.5%.
Poured into glass with a 1 to 2 finger head leaving a lace as you drink it.
Just the right amount of tropical fruit flavours well balanced with a medium bitterness level.
Overall this IPA is very enjoyable to drink would buy it again.
Cheers
