Pours a brilliant sunfire Orange with a creamy, one finger, off-white nearly tan head. No carbonation.
Smells a balanced citrus hop and malt.
Safe of balance with the dankness on top. A thinner mouthfeel than expected for a dank beer. Pine resonates. A nice beer.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass, approximately 1 month prior to it's 'best by' date.

L: Pours a medium orange-golden color. Two fingers of off-white head leave sticky lacing on the glass.

S: Tropical fruits and citrus... evergreen and pine.

T/F: Big malt flavors at the outside give way to a fruity/citrusy hop blast. Lots of mango and orange... a dash of peppercorn spice and finish is dry and bitter. Medium carbonation... sticky and resinous leaving my tongue coated and tingling.

O: A fantastic double IPA from Deschutes... a no-brainer pickup whenever I see it.

Very well done. Earthy and musty with hop and pine. Yum.

Pours a gorgeous clear golden-copper. 1 finger of sticky persistent creamy off white head.

Aroma is faint, mostly grassy with a touch of citrus peel, a little bread

Flavor is nicely balanced, some orange peel like bitterness, sweet toffee, bread. Pine, lemon and juniper hiding in the back end.

Body is full and creamy, with good carbonation

Overall just a wonderful big IPA, complex and complementary hop flavors, good balance, fantastic body and head retention. Aroma strikes me as uninteresting, which is the only thing at all negative I have to say about this one.
