L: A copper amber with a white finger and a half of head. It dissipates rather quickly to a ring around the glass. Leaves lacing at the top of the glass.

S: Some tangerine, grapefruit a little pine.

T: Folows the nose with a bit more tangerine. Juicy. Very tasty.

F: Very smooth. Medium to light bodied, lighlty carbonated.

O: A bit different of an ipa. Bursting with flavors.

Poured from a 12 oz brown bottle into a clear glass tulip. Best by 08/01/17 on back of label.

A: Orange-copper with short-lived but persistent light beige foamy head with respectable lacing.

S: Bright hop aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, and mango jump out of the glass. There is some mild light caramel malt in the aroma, especially as it warms.

T: Flavor intensity is high on the hops side with a lot of pineapple, orange, grapefruit, and lemon-lime mixing with more tropical fruit like guava and mango. Plenty of caramel through the flavor which is a bit of a distraction. Moderately bitter with no yeast character coming through.

M: Very smooth, almost creamy, with even carbonation and relatively light body and a bit of a tacky, chalky finish which is appropriate to the style.

O: A solid American IPA that brings a lot of hop intensity to the table but surprising also throws in a reasonably hefty (for style) amount of caramel malt that I think it could do without.

Fresh Squeezed IPA brewed by Deschutes Brewery, with an ABV of 6.40% This brew pours out a Rich golden amber color , with a nice white head. The smell of Fresh Squeezed IPA , is rich with hops, citrus , grains and malts. This brew has the look and smell of most IPA's on the market. Not saying that is a bad thing. Now for the taste , it is bold with flavor, but is smooth. You first pick up on the hops and citrus in this brew. Then the nice smoothness of grains and malts. Fresh Squeezed IPA, has a real nice balance to it, there is nothing overpowering about this brew. You can no pick up on the high 6.40% ABV in this brew. Fresh Squeezed IPA, is just that smooth. This is one of the better IPA's on the market. The mouthfeel of Fresh Squeezed IPA, is rich , bold , clean, smooth and refreshing. Overall I'm giving Fresh Squeezed IPA, a 4.5 out 5. I would buy this brew again. Deschutes Brewery. did a nice job with one.
