One of the most aromatic IPA's I've had. The fruity citrus and grapefruit notes are overwhelmingly apparent at first smell. It pours with a nice head, amber in color, and clear. Head dissipates fairly soon. The hops are there, but very light. With all the flavor that this IPA brings to the table, my only complaint is that it could bring a touch more bitterness with the hops. But this is a delicious and very easily drinkable IPA. Delightful.

Look- Pour is amber/honey like in color with a thin white head that fades quickly to a thin lace.

Smell- Tropical fruits and honey, floral and sweet. Very pleasant smelling beer!

Taste- Citrus floral hops up front, then follows the smell with a nice tropical fruit/strawberry flavor. Aftertaste is a little bitter from the hops.

Mouthfeel- Wet and still refreshing, with medium carbonation and medium body.

I can really get why it says "no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer" on the box. They nailed this IPA perfectly.

Got a six pack of this yesterday and was so pumped based off of the reviews that I have read so far. And this beer did not disappoint! Very citrusy flavor with some nice bite from the hops. Smells wonderful and is very easy to drink. Perfect amount of carbonation. Can't wait to have the second one.

Poured into a pint glass. A nice golden/amber color with decent head. Nice retention and lacing along the glass. The following smell is spot-on, with a really substantial sweetness and "juiciness" that gives way to a fresh hop smell. Really outstanding. Taste is damn near the same! Sweetness up front and then citrusy/piney/resiny goodness to follow. Such an easy drinking and tasty IPA. Something you could have a couple of no problem or just sit and enjoy a single glass.

Simply amazing. Tastes like a cross between a sweet ruby red grapefruit juice and a fine champagne. I was expecting some super bitter, mouth-puckering IPA, but it was so ridiculously well-balanced without sacrificing that lovely hop profile. Will come back to this again and again.

I picked up a bottle of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA last week for $1.89 at The Lager Mill. I've been wanting to tr y this one and I'm interested to see how it turns out, so lets see how it goes. 2015 Vintage. Poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a teku.

A- The label looks very nice, I really like the design and it's eye catching. It poured a nice amber color that took on a red hue when held to the light with almost two fingers worth off fluffy off white head that died down to a thin ring that stayed till the end and it left some spotty lacing behind. This is a very nice looking beer, I have no complaints.

S- The aroma starts off with a medium amount of sweetness with the hops being the first to show up and they impart some nice fruity aromas with some citrus rinds sticking out the most and a little bit of tropical fruit, piney and floral hops showing up in the background. Up next comes just a slight bit of doughy yeast which leads into the malts which impart a bready, pale malt, light caramel malt and sweet malt aromas with the sweet malts sticking out the most. This beer has a good aroma, I like the balance and the hop profile.

T- The taste seems to be similar to the aroma and it starts off with a slightly higher amount of medium sweetness with the hops still being the first to show up and they impart the same aspects that they did in the aroma with the citrus fruits still sticking out the most and this time they are a little juicy. Up next comes just a slight bit of doughy yeast which leads into the malts which impart the same aspects that they did in the aroma. On the finish there's very low amount of medium bitterness with some sweet malt and fruity hops flavors showing up on the finish. This is a good tasting beer, the hop profile is very nice, but I wish it had a little more bitterness.

M- Smooth, a little refreshing, a little crisp, on the lighter side of being medium bodied with a medium amount of carbonation. The mouthfeel is good and it works well with this beer.

Overall I thought this was a good beer and good example the style, it had everything that I look for in a good IPA and I thought the hop profile was very nice and it worked well with this beer. This beer had good drinkability, I could drink a few of these without getting bored with it. What I like the most about this beer was the hop profile and balance, it was just where it needed to be. What I like the least about this beer is the bitterness, I wish it had just a little more, but it isn't a big deal. I would buy this beer again and I would recommend trying it if you like IPA's. All in all I was very happy with this beer and a little impressed with it. It's my new favorite beer from this brewery and it's a good example of the style. Good job guys, this is one tasty IPA.
