This lively IPA delivers a crisp and light malt body with ample citrus and pine notes from Chinook and Equinox hops. Inspired by the aromas and silence we experience when exploring the scenic pine forests just up the road from our brewhouse.
Malt: Pilsner, Pale, Munich, Crystal, Carapils
Hops: Nugget, Northern Brewer, Chinook, Centennial, Equinox

I love this IPA - it's nutty with some bitter pine; refreshing and bitter. It reminds me of what a hoppier version of an English IPA would be.
L - A hazy gold, almost honey colored liquid with a white head and a lot of white lacing.
S - Bitter hops that remind me of pine and nuts. There's also a sweetness within the bee scent that I cannot attribute mainly to the hops nor the malt. The smell fits the name almost perfectly.
T - Bitter hops and nuts. It's bitter yet refreshing. The nuts add an interesting variable to the flavor, helping you to appreciate the malt backbone, but the taste still leaves me very refreshed.
F - Not thick, yet still thick for an IPA. Very sudsy and bubbly, yet not overly carbonated. There is a sharpness, a bite to to the feel that comes from the hops.
Overall - A nice piney, nutty IPA. Very different from a west coast IPA or even more balanced IPAs such as Two Hearted Ale. This beer reminds me of a higher quality version of Goose Island IPA. Know a hop head looking for something that's hoppy yet different? This beer fills one of those niches. It's a great IPA and deserves more credit than it gets - my own personal opinion, at least.

July 4th, 2016 - Pinedrops is potent and powerful, with a fruity and bitter aroma, but hard to pull out of the bottle. Like getting the last drops of syrup from inside, some persistence is rewarded. The flavor is even better, proffering a wonderful blend of sweet hops and spice, with a thick vegetal aftertaste that is botanical and powerful.

"Best by 10/15/15"; drank 7/19/15 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dandelion appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, fluffy white head; a frothy curtain of lace.
Pine needle, fresh soap & faint banana notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Soap, pine needle & mild caramel flavors up front; boozy bitterness on the finish.
Pickle juice emerged as this warmed.
Not my flavor profile; hopefully this was my last.
