A - Poured from a 375 ML bottle into an oversized wine glass. Slow pour immediately results in massive foamy head, which retains quite well and left a couple nice rings of lace on the glass. Massive carbonation aids the head retention significantly. The beer is a cloudy, golden straw color. There are some small flecks of yeast that fallout eventually.

S - Wonderful aroma. Nice yeast characteristics of banana and clove. Little bit of breadiness. Some nice herbal hops.

T - Follows the nose, but a bit more subtle and subdued. Flavors progress from hops to yeast to mild breadiness. Also throw in a touch of pepper spiciness.

M - Soft and medium bodied. Nothing exceptional, but very nice all the same. Small tingle on the finish.

O - Great beer, no question. Unfortunately at $6 retail for the bottle that I purchased, the value is not here on this one. Only slightly better than some more reasonably priced Saisons that I have enjoyed in the past.

Pours a clear gold with a frothy two-finger head. Earthy bread, hay and grape fill the nose. Those tastes, along with a bit of fruit and barnyard funk predominate the taste. Medium mouth with a fair amount of carbonation Crisp. This isn't my favorite saison, but it's very enjoyable.

First ever beer review.. lets go!

12.7oz green bottle poured into a tulip

A - pours a murky pale golden color reminiscent of hay. Strong persistent bubbles up to a nice big clean head that quickly dies down to next to nothing. Very slight swirling brings the head right back.

S - Not being prejudice against the green bottle but this thing is skunked. Strong upfront skunkiness that is hard to get past, cost it a point or so. Nice belgian yeast character with light undertones of banana and some spicy alcohol shine through though and improves a lot as it warms up. I get some vegetal hop aromas, kind of grassy.

T - Nice and citrusy/yeasty with that spicy alcohol. A touch of banana and spice. Firm dry bitterness that lingers just a tad, balancing out the slight upfront sweetness.

M - Creamy with a slight carbonation bite. Almost acidic, but not unpleasant at all.

O - Great beer, even being skunked. Or maybe I am just not too familiar with the style and Saisons are supposed to have a strong skunk aroma? I would definitely be interested in trying another bottle to maybe see its full potential.

Pouring a cellar temp750 ml bottle into a snifter. The beer pours a bright, clear gold hue with a fluffy, finely packed bleached white head of 3 cm foaming up and fading gradually to a sturdy surface layer. Aroma is grainy malt, some bready yeast, a bit of light fruit with pear and apricot. I also get a bit of white grape on a fairly complex and appealing nose.
First sip reveals an average to light body with fine fizzy carbonation. Crisp clean physical presence that actually leaves a tingle on my palate after each sip.
Flavor is sweet and fruity with white grapes and bready yeast. I also get some dry musty character that lingers on my palate and dries out my throat on each swallow.
Very easy to drink, and causing quite a few burps after each swallow.
Nice enjoyable crisp yet slightly funky belgian brew. I enjoy this one and would recommend to others.
