Sample from 250 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Blonde colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma and flavour with a certain "spiciness" from the yeast, hints of white kandij sugar, but not too sweet. Moderate hops.

Bottle. Large white head. Cloudy golden orange color.

Earthy, bananas, cloves, spices, Belgian yeast, citrus notes. Belgian single flavor all around. Smooth and easy drinking. Lively carbonation.

L- Mid-gold, somewhat hazey*, pours with 1Cm pillowy head. Holds fine, with some cover remaining the whole way down.
S- Smells like a German weissen, slightly spicy, nice.
T- Woah, like a weissen (coriander etc) but with seriously punchy dry hops...
F- ... which otherwise might invite accusations of it being unbalanced, but the meaty body of 7.5% adds notable heft and brings it back all together. After 1/2 the bottle, the palate has adjusted and all these aspects come together and are superb.
O- Fascinating how this beer has been pieced together and I've not had more than 2-3 beers of this similar style/origin that have pulled it off quite so well. This is a seriously considered recipe/brew/beer that leaves you in no doubt at all.
[Now I'd LOVE to buy this again if the only place I seen it, and bought this one, was other than Harvey Nichol$ department $tore, London SW1 at a stonking £9.00 for a champagne-style corked+caged 750ml bottle]. BB: 05/2021
* It was rested and poured very carefully, but I haven't a 750ml glass just a pint/560ml one: Be very aware of the bottle-conditioned sediment, if that matters to you, will VERY quickly stir up if you part-pour this bottle.
