This one is petty much saison Dupont lite. And organic. So it’s like the less hot younger sister who does yoga - which is ok in my book. Anyway, there is a butterfly on the label. And butterflies are neat.
See y’a.

250 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet). Hazy pale golden colour, large foamy and lingering head. Very nice fruity, yeasty and spicy aroma, hints of oak and barnyard. Light bodied, initially fruity (citrus) and peppery flavour, then a distinct wormwood-like bitterness takes over, and dominates the finish and aftertaste.

De color dorado, con un dedo de espuma de retención media. De cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a levadura y especias.

Light yellow body with gold reflections, white head with medium large texture with little hold. On the nose white bread, honey, yellow fruit and citrus fruits, white flowers, spiciness and acidulous note. On the palate there is a good balance between sweet and spicy with a slightly acidic and herbaceous dry closure. Medium body, high carbonation.

Pours a largely clear bright golden color with lots of yeast flecks suspended in the beer. Huge fizzy head billows upward then falls back down and disappears almost as quickly as it appears.
Aroma has strong notes of bready malts, a touch of sweetness, hints of lemon grass, hay and grains come through as well. The aroma is different than what I remember from regular saison Dupont. Obviously I'm not drinking them side by side, so Im going off of feel here, but it just read different - less of the saison yeast zest I get from the regular and veering sweet than regular saison Dupont.
Taste is much closer to what I expect, but still a bit different. Light cracker and cereal grains cascade up front with a light honey like sweetness coming through. The spicy saison Dupont yeast is there and its lovely. Spicy on the back end with a touch of pepper and a touch of that funky barnyard character.
Feel is super vibrant with a prickly carbonation. Semi-dry with a certain crispness about the finish.
Overall I vastly prefer the regular Saison Dupont to the biologique, but this one was really enjoyable.

Pours a clear golden color with an amazingly huge, froth head.
Smells of wheat, dough and a soft spiciness. Has a wet grass quality to it, with noble, herbal hops, balancing the sweeter spices.
Drinks very soft with a profound spiciness defining the taste, which gets additionally amped up during the finish by the bubbly carbonation.
Tastes of wild honey and a prominent perfumy quality, featuring burned sugar and flowers. This opens up the palate to sweetness loving spices, adding a nice zing to the established flavors. A late herbal dryness tones down the sweetness, putting the focus on rustic bread and wheat.
Very nice, perfectly balanced beer with an astonishing intensity as for its lower abv. Packs a big spice punch, pleasantly entangled into rich straw and soft yeast.

Pours a beautiful clear gold (unfiltered) with a large foamy head that dissipates soon with a touch of spotty lacing. Nose is quite light...just a touch of yeast, lemon, apple. Flavor is also light...hay, a touch of green apple skin. Very refreshing, very bright and crisp.
A very different beer than the regular saison, but still ver nice.

Picked this up at a great little beer store in Arlon, Belgium, Miorge Mihoublon. Hazy golden yellow pour with a hint of orange and a two finger foamy white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is a bit skunky when first opened but quickly yielded to more typical earthy, grassy, yeasty Saison notes along with hints of green apples, lemongrass, honey, hay, some subtle funk. The taste is complex and pretty much mirrors the nose with lots of green apples and grass along with hints of lemon, honey, hay, white pepper, grape skins, lemongrass, and a bit of barnyard. The mouthfeel is light and crisp with medium carbonation and a dry, vinous finish. Overall, I didn't like it as well as the original Saison Dupont, but it's still a great interpretation and great on a hot day.

Light amber color with a gentle mist.
The head of the white-large, medium and small bubble, slowly melts, very nicely sticks to the wall.
In the aroma, we have apples, white grapes, a little honey with lemon, yeast, "belgium" with a little farmhouse, stables.
The taste is like poorer, gentler, less intense, just as we have in the smell of apples, grapes, lemon and peach and a village.
Bitterness is at a satisfactory level, very nice, increasing appetite. The loading medium toward high, here the most suitable. Alcohol is not perceptible.
To sum up: Saison Dupont Biologique is crisp, fresh beer, perfect for hot summer days.

Hazy orange beer with a fluffy, white, three finger high head that stays for a long time.
Nose: Belgian yeast, apple, hay, lemongrass, earthy hop notes, white bread, banana and wheat.
Taste: Sweet caramel malt, spice, citrus, orange, tart green apple, fruity esters and banana.
Body: Medium bosy and strong yet soft carbonation and a dry finish with a light bitterness.
This is amazing!
