22oz bottle

A- Pours a clear golden amber color with a nice off-white head.

S- The aroma is fantastic! Sweet malt, fruity esters and a ton of citrusy hops.

T- The taste is fruity with some malt and a good amount of bitterness in the finish.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodies with a good amount of carbonation.

O- Overall, this is a solid beer that I really enjoyed.

Poured into a large tulip glass a lemon hued medium golden with a large white head that left a few a broken rings as it setteled into a frothy mass.Bright citric hops stand out most in the nose along with some alcohol dipped fruit, ever so light spiced yeasty phenols are held in check well. Not as brash on the palate as in the aromas but the flavors are nice, medicinal and sharp citric hops with deep fruity tones, the alcohol as well as the yeasty notes come into play more as it warms. It's close to being great as is it's pretty darn good and worthy of a higher rating than what it has right now, in my opinion.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a Sam Adams pint.

A: Pours a clear, dark straw color with one-half finger of off-white head. Some retention and lace.

S: Interesting. Belgian esters have a strong, vinous quality. Smells a lot like a good Chardonnay.

T: Bubble gum. Dry on the finish, feels a little like it may have met some oak. After a bit, the start develops a grapefruit quality, and some grass emerges on the finish. Still later, black pepper joins the combination. At the very end, some menthol.

M: Light, slightly under-carbonated at first, good oily feel. Seems to get more of a carbonated feel over time-- odd, that.

O: Not sure I'm getting the double-IPA effect, but it is a pleasant beer, and the Belgian character comes through well. A lot of interest over the course of the glass. Definitely worth a try.

A- Surprisingly big head on my first pour. Lots of bubbles floating at different paces through the beer, some moving very slow for carbonation bubbles. Looks over-filtered for a Belgian with lots of transparency and a color that is eerily close to orange soda.

S- Smell is a brilliant showcasing of the incredible hop at first but once it warms seems to be more stunning alcohol than anything else.

T- This is where things got weird, I liked it. The flavors brought me back to my early childhood when I particularly liked the taste of this orange flavored children's cold medicine my mom used to give me when I had a cough. The flavor on this beer is sugary sweet with an overpowering orange flavor that is molded throughout this sticky concoction.

M- Syrupy and bubbly but not too bubbly the alcohol is covered somewhat by sugar and carbonation

O- I probably won't buy this again but it was worth a try and definitely worth the nostalgia.

Pours a pretty clear orange with small fluffy head. Smell has some belgian yeast funk, a bit of orange zest. Crisp aroma. Flavor a bit muddled. Heavy lemon zest and serious yeast funk. Solid bitter bite with a sweet finish. Fruit is very present and this went very well with some guacamole believe it or not. Medium light mouthfeel and low to medium carbonation.

Pours a rather typical clear yellow with an average white head that does not last long. Fortunately, this is the beer's weakest point. Strong, hoppy aroma is crisp and has a firm fruity note plus a yeasty hint. Flavor is - whoa! Sharp, hoppy, a little fruity, slightly yeasty, with an almost shellack-like overtone. Definitely not for the faint of heart - or tongue! Texture has slightly above-average body but plenty of tingle, leaving a rather distinctive hoppy and sour fruity finish. Distinctive, and if not the best I have had, certainly a worthy brewski.
