On tap at the newly opened JB's bar in St. Helier, Jersey. Pours a amber colour with white foamy head with above medium carbonation. Aromas of malty florals. Tastes is also quite floral with a bit of a nutty edge. Overall a beer I quite enjoyed & would have again.

From bottle into Tennant's pint glass.

A - white head that dissipates at a medium speed, leaving some sticky lacking

S - Smell is probably the best part about this beer, a hoppy smell where you really notice the familiar citrusy piney Dogfish 60 Minute IPA in amongst the maltyness from the brew

T - The taste was the most disappointing thing about this beer, not much hop little bit of marshmellow taste but mainly malt. An easy drinker. Not something I would expect from something DFH is involved in but I'm guessing that's the Charles Wells influence.

M - Not much on the mouthfeel really, basic carbonation and goes down smoothly

I was a bit disappointed with this beer as I've come to expect a high standard from DFH, but that unfortunately is the Charles Wells influence on the beer. I wish they'd collaborate with Adnams or something instead.

A collaboration between Dogfish Head and Wells & Young from the UK. Tried on cask at the Friend in Hand in Russell Square, London.

Pours a a nice, clear amber hue, with a very solid weight to the body. Head forms a foamy and fine tread, like a thick cask pour. Lace forms streaky, patchy characters. Tilting the glass leaves some fine but surprisingly minimal carbonation. Overall, though, it's a very fine cask pour.

Nose has some mild herbal characters, very much UK in style. Some spearmint comes through along with a light aromatic rosemary. Marshmallow is the main sweetness, with some fragrant green peppercorn. It's not huge, but it's quite pleasant.

Flavour is also fairly light, but with stacks of potential. Light entry, with clear malt, before a tingle of brightness from the hops that provides a vector against the otherwise smooth malt notes. Lingering bitterness comes through. Slight herbal citrus leaf bitterness provides that aftertaste.

Feel is very smooth: light and silky.

Very drinkable stuff, and very solidly made. It's lacking sparkle and crackle and that true impressive brilliance, but it's really very good overall.
