Notes: Blend two Dogfish Head favorites, add maple syrup and carbonate the mixture naturally. What do you get? 75 Minute IPA.

The carbon dioxide trapped during bottle conditioning gives 75 Minute IPA a soft and velvety mouthfeel. Dry-hopped with whole-leaf Cascades, this complex IPA has been known to inspire pilgrimages to our brewpub.

From the neck in yellow ink: "BOTTLED ON 10/02/18 1513"

Appearance: The beer is a nice color of amber-orange with good clarity. It has a short white creamy textured head with good retention.

Aroma: The beer has a pleasant aroma which is slightly piney and a bit floral.

Taste: Up front it has a complex mix of flavors; there is a sweet caramel flavor mixed with nectarines and grapefruit with just a hint of a floral note, similar to hibiscus. There is a lot of interesting flavor to this beer and it keeps shifting across the palate keeping it both interesting and pleasant.

Mouthfeel: It is a very clean and enjoyable beer with an even keel of sweetness and bitterness. Carbonation is on point and it is very enjoyable to drink.

Overall: It is a very enjoyable American IPA that is delivering flavor profiles that other beers on the market are not. I wish this was a more regular beer because I would certainly enjoy buying it regularly. Although this beer is "75" it doesn't quite fit between "60" and "90" minute IPAs. It is really its own beer. I would both recommend it and buy it again.

Amber color, slightly hazy pour with a thin, short lived head and good carbonation. Excellent aroma typical for Dogfish Head. The taste is also excellent and I can tell it's a lighter version of the 90 Minute IPA from previous experience. It has a bit of sweetness that I love in an IPA. I can't tell it's maple syrup though. Very drinkable and smooth as silk. Overall another winner from the Fabulous Brewers at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. Finally saw a six pack and didn't hesitate to grab it. My local craft beer joint has it on tap and I'll confirm the taste consistency. Poured from a 12 ounce long neck 'Bottled On 11/01/18' into a Spiegelau IPA glass. IPA lovers should try their beer in this glass.

Poured from a 750ml bottle into a Dogfish Head Signature glass. This one was delivered to the beverage center on Thursday, consumed on Saturday.

A: Hazy light golden color. Aggressive pour leads to a humongous three finger head that fades around the outside leaving a rock-of-gibraltar sized island in the middle. The lacing is thick, heavy and coats the glass with passion.

S: Wonderful piney resin hops with grapefruit zest and sneaky good malt backbone shining through for good measure. There is a huge sweet aroma to it and I'm sure it's the maple syrup but it's hard to pick up. This is a very excellent smelling beer.

T: Perfectly balanced mix of bitter hops and sweet malts with an obvious subtle mix of maple syrup at the end of the taste. The 60 and the 90 play nicely off of one another. At this point I'm a bigger fan of the 60 due to its drinkability but I hold a serious place in my heart for the 90 due to the fact that it is responsible for getting me into craft beer and both flavor profiles mixed together in one beer make on hell of a good tasting beer.

M: Perfectly carbonated, medium bodied. Creamy, bitter finish leads me to pick up the glass over and over making this 750 go quickly.

O: This is a beer that sets the bar in my mind for IPAs. It's hoppy, it's got a subtle, yet supremely delicious malt profile, it's got an out-of-left-field quality with the maple syrup that I think sets it apart from other IPAs. It's not an IIPA but the appearance tells me otherwise. The ABV is a perfect 7.5%...just high enough to get me moving, and yet low enough to not worry about finishing the bomber on my own. Bravo, Sam et al. at DFH. You have yet another masterpiece although I'm still bummed you axed Squall...

Appearance: slightly hazy; golden orange color; fizzy white head that dissipates completely

Aroma: malty; sweet; big lemon; a little hops; maple; pine

Taste: big lemon and other citrus flavors; moves into a decent malt backbone with a little bit a maple sweetness; moves into some good hop notes with big pine flavors; revisit of the sweetness at the very end

Mouthfeel: medium bodied; prickly carbonation

Overall Impression: this is really nice; good hop bite with some big sweetness to balance it out; I really like this

Very nice IPA for the winter. The cascade hops and the maple syrup make a really nice combination. Might smell and taste like any other IPA but all the features are there. Did not get any yeast from the first pour but some did get disturbed for the second glass. Very good winter IPA. Cheers!

Pours a hazy, dark golden orange color with yellowish-orange hues and a massive 2.5/3 finger, frothy white head that very slowly settles into a lasting cap.  Chunks of soapy lacing left behind.

Sweet yet earthy aroma with some grassy pine and sweet malt notes.  The sweetness of the syrup and malts take away from the hops.  Hint of caramel, toffee, nut and sweet maple.  Too malt forward for my preference.

Medium bodied with some tight carbonation and subtle signs of infection. Balance of dry and sweet notes.  Dry bitterness with some earthy/soily notes that get overpowered by malt profile and maple.  Hints of toffee, caramel hazelnut and syrup. Too malty and sweet with little to no interesting hop flavor.

Appearance - a golden apricot pour, lots of bubbly tendrils shooting up from below. Light cream-colored head, pocky and sturdy.

Aroma - a whiff of citrus and pine, some vague nuttiness that is probably the maple syrup. Light but not the most aromatic.

Taste - the taste is similar, though the malt base is more stated and lays out a nice canvas for the other flavors to work from. The hops have a good citrus and bitter balance, and the aftertaste is showing some dryness and perhaps nutty tones, but I don't think I would know there's maple in here if it wasn't stated on the label. This has a flavor that suggests a Belgian yeast strain, could just be the age of the bottle and waning of certain elements.

Mouthfeel - fluffy and well-carbonated, solid weight.

Overall - good beer, I'd have it again, especially if I saw it on tap.

Served in a sample cup at the Lupulin Slam.

Appearance: Hazy, honey color with a frothy and rocky white head, which recedes to a film and a ring in good time. Wee blobs of lacing were left on the glass.

Smell: Herby, almost minty, smell of hops. I was reminded of German nobles for some reason. Peppery, grassy, and brassy.

Taste: Melony fruit sweetness with some peppery and herby hop tastes. The hops and the malt don't really mesh well enough to make this truly stellar, but that might be me not liking the hop profile.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, nice and crisp. Palate cleansing.

Drinkability: A nice, but odd, hop profile. I think I'll take the 90 minute IPA by itself, thanks.

Other: Created especially for the Lupulin Slam, this is a 7 barrel batch of beer that mixes essentially equal portions of 60 and 90 Minute IPA together, plus a crapload of hops, among which were Columbus, Chinook, Amarillo, and Cascade.

A: Lighter brown-amber body. Nothing but an off-white skim. No lacing.

S: Maple syrup. Brown sugar. Caramel. Slight hop bitter aromas.

T: Slightly stale tasting. Maple syrup.lt. Citric hops are minimal

M: Flat, yet hearty. Slightly cloying after taste.

D: Took some effort to finish the pint. I am going to chalk this one up to not being in the firkin long enough.

Pours cloudy gold orange color with ridiculously big foamy/cloudy 3 finger snow white head that faded very slowly, going down and leaving excellent foamy lacing coating the sides and rings; a great looking IPA and what I hoped for and expected.

Smells of big floral hops up front, then a mix of light flowers, citrus hops, grapefruit, malt, grains, coriander, pine cone/piney hops, caramel, light syrup, brown sugar, herbs and some spices like pepper; not in your face hoppy but a nice soft hoppy aroma that's well balanced by the malts and grains while there’s enough sweetness to make it quite enjoyable to smell.

Tastes of floral hops, flowers, herbs, citrus hops, grapefruit, lemon, light orange peel, grass/hay, coriander, piney hops/pine cone, yeast, sweet malt, lightly toasted grains, wheat, light caramel, faint sugar, spices like pepper, some charcoal or cardboard, as well as earthy tones like peat moss; for a Dogfish Head IPA, this surprised me - the taste has more grains, yeast and malt than the smell indicates and is very balanced like a pale ale, hiding the alcohol completely. The herbal and floral notes in the nose and taste remind you of the dry hopping, but this is still timid compared to the 90 Minute IPA. Bottle conditioned indeed.

Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, almost slick, with a medium body, average carbonation and a slightly bitter finish that's on the dry side and leaves a toasty grainy sweetness coating the tongue, and oddly then the syrup taste pops up. Dogfish Head brewers are mad scientists and this is another byproduct of that experimentation.

This was flavorful and a very enjoyable beer that goes down easy and to me is a session beer, but I do like the 90 Minute and Squall IPA’s better as far as flavor goes, yet this seemed to go down extremely fast and easy. Highly recommend trying this for any Dogfish Head IPA fan, and if for nothing else than just for the drinkability alone. Really nice and easy to drink, so grab one and try it.

A: Pours a hazy golden amber color with a solid three-fingered sea-foam that hangs around for a while then starts dissipating a little more quickly.

S: I'm picking up a light straw scent with a bit of earthy hops and some citrus notes.

T: A very light amount of maple notes are present along with the 60- and 90-minute notes of light citrus, pine and hops.

M: A bit of hoppy bitterness in a brew that feels a little thicker than an IPA usually does, interesting in a good way. Medium-light amount of carbonation.

O: Overall, quite good, an interesting blend of the 60- and 90-Minute IPAs, quite delicious and worth having again.

Just had to pick up one of these, even though my recent history with DFH 750s has been pretty spotty...

750mL (bottling date smudged off, but this just hit down this week) into a tulip. Pours a hazy copper with a monstrous fluffy white head that leaves big clumps of sticky lace. Great looking beer.

Aroma has a hint of that same damp basement smell I've picked up from a half dozen other DFH beers. I wonder if the water in Delaware smells like this. Plenty of heavy malt and tropical fruits, apricots, mangos... and of course hops. Mostly though I get sweet sticky fruits. Pretty strong booze aroma too.

Taste is fruity, caramelly malts and lots of bittering hops. I do not taste the maple syrup, other than a vaguely sugary quality, but it might be giving this beer a slightly softer mouthfeel. Hard to say. Good carbonation keeps it light on the palate.

Overall a solid IPA. Nothing particularly special or unique about it, clearly well crafted, but it's just OK.
