Opaque golden with no head from tap. Yeast and spice on the nose of this brew. Fall spices dominate the flavor of this beer along with the yeasty tartness on the edge. Less carbonated

Yellow-gold in color with very light carb and almost non existent head. Fruit and malt dominate the aroma and the taste is full of apples and a light, sweet yeast. Nice balance and clean on the finish like apple juice. Interesting beer !

on tap at the Brickhouse in Orwigsburg.
slightly hazy thin looking body with persistent fizzy white head and okay lacing.
aroma is strongly of the usual Belgian spice mix.
somewhat tart and sour in taste, apples mostly, spices are strongly there.
around medium on the mouth. tart spicy finish.
an okay saison. to my palate, would be even better if the tartness and spices were dialed back a bit. but that's just me.

Appearance: Dispensed a fairly clear, yellow-hued body with a white head, though a bit on the small side. Scant lacing.
Smell: Apple is abundant on the nose, cidery and housing an adequate spiciness.
Taste: A light maltiness, a tipple of wheat and a drenching of sweet apple juice steeping with cinnamon. Moderate spice character with some orange peel displayed. Dusky, tangy and a bit peppery on the finish with some lingering sweetness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Overall: Though competent, I would've preferred a sharper saison underneath and a bit less sweetness.

Poured from tap into shaker, 1 finger cream colored head recedes to a pool rather quickly, nice lacing. Clear golden in the glass, constant bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass. Smells like an odd mixture of saison yeast esters and cider, which it pretty much is, with some spiciness hanging around. Taste is pretty much like the smell, initial fruity taste immediately followed by cider, more winter cider with the cinnamon, anise action going on. Finish with a mild bitterness, somewhat dry. Great beer, they accomplished what they set out to do, would definitely but this if it were canned or bottled
