A: Pours a hazy orange amber color with growing opacity toward the top. A fantastic white blowing bubbly pancake head forms and does not indicate its going anywhere. Spiderweb lacing to boot.
S: Sweet malty flavors, caramel and toffee come to mind. Someplace in the background I sense some subtle citrus rind flavors.
T: Very rich and complex stuff, I would suggest this is truly a "food beer". Flavors which the nose suggested come through on the palate along with a mouth tingling sort of sichuan peppercorn sort of quality. I find this to be too sweet however it still makes for a pretty nice barleywine Dipa.
M: Rich, long, and tingly.
O: pretty good stuff actually, I initially assumed it would be too sweet, and while it was ... It has a number of other redeeming qualities (complexity of flavors being #1). Also this was very affordably priced at something like 8 dollars for a 750 ml bottle.

L: Clear amber body with a 2 finger eggshell head
S: Malt forward
T: Taste is way more explosive than the nose. Plenty of sweet malt balanced by resinous hops. Notes are sweet toffee, caramel, orange, and pine
F: Medium bodied with a dry finish. Alcohol warms the chest.
O: A little too sweet for me, but otherwise the flavor is excellent.

Slightly cloudy orange/gold pour with a foamy off-white head. Big citrus and grain aroma. Taste has a very mild bitterness at the beginning with flavors of orange rind, herbs, mango, grass, and a hint of wet bread. Bitterness becomes stronger as the beer warms but is never overpowering. Full bodied with moderate carbonation.
