The first-ever nationally distributed oat milk-centric IPA, Hazy-O! took almost a year of R&D to perfect. In fact, to ensure they harnessed all the goodness of oat milk in Hazy-O!, Dogfish Head enlisted the help of oat milk scientists from Elmhurst 1925, a family-owned, plant-based milk producer out of New York. Using Elmhurst’s culinary prowess and its Unsweetened Milked Oats, made with only three simple ingredients – oats, water and a bit of salt, Dogfish Head finalized the recipe for Hazy-O!, and “ooooh,” it is delicious!

Draft at Samuel Adams pub at Logan
Creamy frothy 1 finger head with good retention from streaming bubbles, semi hazy straw color, good lacing
Nose citrus and mild tropical hops, grapefruit and pineapple, little green unripe piney musty mango, touch of malt
Taste brings more citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, quite pithy, tropical fruit with pineapple, dank mango, a bit piney oily dank, creamy flaked proteins, doughy malt, more citrus zest late on the drier finish
Mouth is med bod, fair frothy small bubble carb
Overall not bad, a bit boring for NEIPA,

Disappointed. Bought because I love other Dogfish brews. Unique but somewhat unpleasant. Would not do again.

pours a hazy amber (shocker) with a thick head that runs away. nose; clean grain, bitter mango, light piney hops, & citrus rind. taste; solid bready malt, lemon rind, very light caramel, light orange, light mango, & citrus hops. high carbonation and slighly heavy mouthfeel (oat milk?). decent hazy.

taster at Hangman. Hazy straw colored pour with a foamy white head. Aroma is grapefruit peel, grassy. Taste is more citrus, fruity, grassy, dry. Did not work for me.
