This very British style ale is a nitrogen poured Extra Special Bitter with English Malt and American Hops (Willamette and Galena).
'Stop The Spill BP ESB' has a pleasantly sweet malty flavor that sticks around until the hops arrive. The English ale yeast leaves a nice citrus, floral flavor and aroma.

The latest "Brewery Only" release is the "Stop the Spill BP ESB". One dollar of every pint purchased goes to help clean up the Gulf Coast...so I couldn't pass this one up.
Arrived as a clear dark amber, color. A little like iced tea, maybe. Had a very foamy, white head that stayed put the whole time I was drinking it due to the nitro.
Smelled heavy on the caramel, a little chocolate. Not too much else that I could notice considering the other smells in the dining room.
Tasted like very creamy chocolate. The nitro just smoothed everything out (maybe a bit too much). The server said there was a good hoppy bitterness, but I didn't get any of that, and I didn't think an ESB should have that in first place.
Mouthfeel was very light, creamy and maybe a little buttery.
Very drinkable due to the light body and sweet creamy taste.
Overall I thought it was a little overly creamy. Maybe it would be better off a hand pump as opposed to the nitro, but it was still a good brew. And it's for charity after all.
