Appearance: apple juice colored; thin white head that rims around the glass
Aroma: floral; lemon; orange; pine; hops; honey; caramel malt
Taste: very nice; starts with a little honey sweetness and the lemon/orange citrus flavors; moves into some nice caramel malt notes with a hint of the floral earthiness coming through; ends on some more pronounced floral notes with a bit of pine and a nice hop bite on the back; aftertaste is hoppy, and dry
Mouthfeel: frothy; a little juicy; smooth; light carbonation
Overall Impression: boy, this is an incredibly well balanced beer; very good; the art that went into making this is something to behold…the way the sweetness plays off of the hops and the citrus is excellent

Really like DFH. Just don't like malt.

Auburn beer with dope clarity, full on inch of head. Lacing and retention were pretty good for whatwas advertised as a hop forward beer.
The aroma wasn't so much hoppy as it led with its sweet malt that prolly give this beer its color. Taste also incorporated this sweet aspect over the hops. Interesting. Grassy, spice cabinet stuff. Not worth $15 a bottle. Not even worth $10/6pack.

Beautiful color with an amazing head that lasted through the entire beer. Now the smell...a combination of socks that have been worn for three months straight and extremely bitter hops. The taste was not that far off. I had high hopes for this collaboration, but it feel disappointingly short.
