Poured on tap into a footed highball glass at the brewpub in Rehoboth.
Murky brown, no head presented with barely a thin collar of off tan appearance. Body color goes through varying shades of brown though through the glass.
Interesting nose. Light malts but nothing really nutty or kind of full. Nice cinnamon angle on this, with hinting spices. Chocolate and orange. Nope.
Palate is extremely wet. Very watery like watered down draft beer. Cinnamon angles and nutmeg like spice manage out, but provides a real weak flavor that doesnt carry.
Overall this is strangely one of the weakest beers I've had from Dogfish, and it comes off like a failed watered down brew. The idea is a great one but this needs to go back to the drawing board.

I couldn't agree more with the below comment. There was nothing "special" about this beer. You could taste all the components, but there was no surprise. The lack of head was left you thinking it was flat, it wasn't. It did feel watered down, but it wasn't. That being said, I would try it again. You can only get this on-tap at the Brewpub in Rehoboth Beach. No growler fills allowed.
