Good
Over Zealous - our interpretation of Zeal (our Double India Pale Ale) taken to the extreme, as an Imperial India Pale Ale. This beer features our personally selected Nelson Sauvin, and Southern Cross hops sourced from Freestyle Hops in New Zealand. Pushing the Southern Hemisphere limits, we included Phantasm(a powder produced from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes) in our dry hop schedule.

Served in a teku glass from the can.
Appearance: comes off a light pail but still almost opaque yellow hazy body with a subtle Whitehead which had an initial rise of maybe one full fingers length off the body from an initial pour.
Smell: Lemongrass aroma, floral which dissipates quickly.
Taste: bitter with hints of citrus skin, semi sweet hops and heavy malt.
Mouth: medium body with a soft carbonation.
Overall: Good brew, nice in-betweener if you are having a tasting or introducing yourself to the new England DIPA life. Salud!

Rated the look low because it looks more like a hazy than an IIPA. Nose and taste are very citrusy. Not much bitterness. Easy drinking for a 9% beer. Overall good Hazy IPA.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale golden, hazy golden pour, scant white head. Aroma is tropical, fruity, citrus. Taste is tropical, fruity, pineapple, zesty.
