This Scottish “Export” Ale is named in accordance with a Scottish naming system corresponding to the pricing of a hogshead of ale (54 Imperial Gallons) in the 19th century. Generally speaking, the higher the number, the greater the strength of the ale being sold. This malt-centric, lightly fruity ale combines six malts, including some oats to soften the palette, and finishes clean and crisp, making it an excellent foil to any food.
