Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma is mainly malty with some earthy hops. Taste is really balanced with some caramel malt and quite bitter and earthy finish. Light body with the specific minerality of British water. Overall it leans more towards a bitter than an IPA but it's a decent ale.

Little darker than golden with a good frothy head. Aroma is malty, hoppy with faint trace of pepper, flavour is strongly malty, touch of cocoa, dry aftertones, quite bitter. Another good one from O'Haras, this is a session ale at 4%, I like it chilled. I like it a lot.

500ml Bottle from Reilly's in Lisnaskea, Fermanagh (£2.29):
Sadly not one of O'Hara's better offering, although I might have guessed as much given it was labelled as a new session IPA from the brewery; to be honest, I'd probably describe it as an English style IPA myself. Overall the beer was quite a subdued & almost weak offering that opened with some pine & citrus but neither seemed particularly pronounced or noticeable. In fairness, I managed to finish the beer without too many problems but it just didn't seem to be one that I particularly enjoyed; perhaps if it had been presented as an English pale ale or IPA then I might have enjoyed it more but as it stands, it was a pretty poor session IPA & one I'll likely avoid in future.
