Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.20%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
A Contemporary style IPA with an Irish twist. Combining the balance of European IPAs with the generous dry hopping of American pale ales (APAs), this beer is everything an IPA should be and more.

Zesty and refreshingly bitter, the finish is long. With a copper tone body topped with a lightly carbonated head, the dry hopping brings an intense aroma and lasting array of fruit and floral notes.

Flat, golden, murky, cloudy color. Not much head. Light fizz / carbonation. Hoppy right from the git-go but not as much as a typical IPA (I realize this is not precisely an IPA). Pretty rough on its own. I prefer this beer / ale with a meal or at least some nuts, etc. It needs something to stand up to it.

O'Hara's generally makes decent beer, but this one is definitely not amongst my favourites.
It pours with a light ruby color and a very generous creamy head.
The aroma is very nice - sweet and fruity, citrusy hops. I like it.
The creamy body taste extra bitter and extremelly hopped which is not really what I like.
I'll keep away from this one.

Grand beer. Love a good deal of the O'Hara's range but this is on the lower end of their scale. I don't know if malty is the right word but I'm going with it. Very Malty. Looks fine. Smell is what it is, nothing special. Taste lacks bite. Hard to recommend against it but there's better IPAs out there and better beers by O'Hara's.

Hazy golden colour, with a creamy medium head, long retention, good lace.
Aroma of tropical fruits, resins, peaches, grapefruits, flowers, ripe fruits.
Medium body and silky texture, Average carbonation.
Taste of citrics, grapefruits, peaches, caramel herbs.
