On tap at Farrington's, Dublin.

Steady carpet of off white that rings over bright gold body.
Mango, canteloupe, resin and orange sherbet on the nose - bright and fresh.
Some baguette and more mango, then lemon peel, herb, evergreen and a hint of tangerine for hops.
Limoncello finish and stinging nettle linger.
Crisp, medium leaning light, some chew but lean.

Spanking fresh - keg tapped the same morning.

All sorts of citrus (though interestingly, not grapefruit) and a bit of aspirin in the linger. Too thin (less sticky and malty than PH Hop Head) and borderline ABV to call this a true DIPA. But a hop monster just the same.

Probably Ireland's first real IPA.

Pretty sweet & dense, bitterness where it should be. Very rich and complex taste. Strong enough. Perfect. No, best!

Excellent beer. Up there with of foam and fury and a fraction of the price from the bottle. Does not taste anything like the 7.5 avb. Will definitely be getting some more of these. In saying that it's not the first time iv tried these and a previous bottle didn't taste as fresh.
