Extremely strong honey nose, as if he had aged and had a strong sucrose. The mouth is easy, slightly sweet. Indeed, honey remains neutral and does not add any sugar to taste. And if we except a small lack of bitterness in the finish, it goes without saying that for a beer of low fermentation, the result is quite exceptional.

Comes in a 33cl brown long neck bottle with a white and gold label featuring the trademark windmill. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 10/31/04, I opened it on 3/3/04.

The name means golden, and that's certainly the color - clear and fairly deep in hue. There's not much of a head - just a bit of fizzy white foam that disappears almost immediately. The nose is very, very mild, with just the slightest hint of some malt. The mouth is light and prickly. There's a bit of malt in the opening, sweet but quite grainy. The dominant taste is a metallic hoppy bitterness, which starts early, determines the finish and constitutes the aftertaste. This one is a bit on the harsh side, but it's drinkable.

500ml bottle. Lager glass. Enjoyed on oct´12. Pure gold in color. Quite a bit hazy appearance. White froth creates a close crown showing good retention. Malty & citric aromas, slightly sulphury too. Sweet citric upfront. Light body. Medium carbonation. Watery texture.Subtle honey & low bitterness in the middle resolve in a rather cloying finish.

Pouring it into a large goblet revealed an appealing golden color with about an inch of head that slowly faded. Although it smelled like beer, the taste had an unusual sweetness that I never did get used to. So I guess that makes the mouth feel and drinkability poor. The Best Before date on the label appeared to have been scratched out.

Pours a very light golden color with a generous, solid white head and a decent retention.
There is virtually no smell for the nose to pick up.
The taste starts on the sweet side and is followed by a bitter body. Finishing with decent bitterness and slightly spicy aftertaste.
Not bad.

Bottle from Mix Markt in Kaiserslautern. Watery and bland, but it sure looks good. No aroma, no flavor, but a nice fluffy head. I understand that the pale lagers aren’t pilseners, but this is just plain ordinary...

Golden color, clean. An average white head.
The smell is very unpleasant... Ok, it is terrible.
In the label the is a "maltose syrup" in teh ingredients. Now, I don't know the effect of this on a beer, and after this one, I don't wanna know it at all.
Beside the decent appearance, the rest is really awful.
The taste is even worse.
