Second stop in Santa Monica yesterday, this place was actually connected to Wild Oats market, it is a real pain in the ass to park around here, this place was filled wine and I mean ninety percent of the store, cool looking inside and very organized, clean floors and fridge areas, expected to see a much nicer beer selection with all now the nice wines surrounding me, guy working there said hello to me and that was it, but I did not ask him any questions so I cannot really fault him for that, onto the beers, there was New Belgium Skinny Dip and Mothership Wit, Delerium Tremens, Unibroue 17 and Maudite, Red Nectar and Hemp Ale, two of the three Chimays in 750 mls, Green Flash West Coast IPA for nine dollars which is cheaper than BevMo even, Abbot Ale, all the Samuel Smith's including their new cider, Lindemans, Saison Dupont, and Hobgoblin, prices were fair for some things and expensive for others, an example is how a 750 ml bottle of Saison Dupont was only nine dollars while a 22 ounce Arrogant Bastard was nearly seven bucks, beer is definitely not their strong point but might be worth checking out if you live around here, I probably would not go back unless I drove by and needed to grab a quick beer, not the best in the area though

This is a very well kept store. It is small and in a very expensive part of Santa Monica. Montana street has many over priced shops and restaurants. It is also paired next to a Wild Oats market. A great store with very organic and healthy foods.

First and foremost this is a wine shop. They carry a large variety of wine from very inexpensive to... "repeat that price again, I thought you said $$$."

They have a small but varied beer selection. The craft brews consist of Anderson Valley(Poleeko Gold. yum), Stone, Firestone, Sierra Nevada, Samual Adams and a few others. Good beers but nothing too obscure. Imports consist of Germans, English, Japanese and a couple of Mexican breweries. I saw Samuel Smith's, Ayinger, along with some Japanese and Mexican macro style beers and a small but nice supply of Belgians. Piraaat, Duvel and Chimay to name a few.

I am noticing a trend in the liquor and wine stores around Santa Monica and elsewhere. They are starting to carry a few craft and micro style beers along with a decent selection of imports to go along with the usual macro beers. I think they are trying to cater to everybody. I think this is a good thing. Hopefully when we BA's venture in to any liquor store or grocery store we will find something to our liking. It may not be a great selection but at least there is A SELECTION!

There prices are a bit expensive but if I am in a pinch or if I am shopping at Wild Oats this is convienent enough to buy some beer here. A nice small shop. Maybe with a little proding we can get them to add a few more craft brews.
