Pours a crisp, perfectly clear white gold, with a small frothy white head, which soon fades to a slight film.

Aroma is of pears, light hop flowers, and biscuity malt, very mellow.

Taste is very mellow, and mild, with a clean and crisp finish. Overall, it starts out sweet with a bit of uncooked dough taste in it (a good thing) and has a slight lagered bite at the end.

Ithaca's particular yeast strain is more dominant here than in any of their other brews, but it definately feels more at home here than in any of their other offerings, beautifully complimenting the flavor.

Hops work nicely here, without being too insistant. Still, this is more hoppy than other cream ales I've had in the past, and there is a noticeable hop presence in the finish, which adds to the "clean" finish.

Mouthfeel is active in this, but soft on the tongue, perfect for the style.

Drinkability is very good, as I think I could drink this whole growler myself if I wanted to. I think I'm going to save the rest for some ribs tomorrow.

A great offering, and a great potential sessioner. Well done.

Clear golden color with a bright white head and some slight lacing. Smell was of nice floral hops, sweet maltyness and a crisp grain twang, obviously not adjunct laden. Taste was a little metallic, hops were more bitter, but not mouth puckering tart bitter, more that grainy bitterness. It was a tad watery and light, but that is what it is supposed to be. Not too much maltyness here. The finish is a little more hoppy and refreshing. This is a cool crafted alternative to macro-swill(genny aside), but a dead on interpretation of them at the same time. I would definitely buy this for a party over anything else.
