On tap at The Old Toad in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish brown, with a foamy long lasting head, and a good amount of lacing.
Smells like caramel, rotted dark fruit, and some booze.
This one didn't work all that well for me, unfortunately. It's too boozy for only 8.3% ABV, and the booziness, when combined with the dark fruit flavors here, kind of make for a rotted fruit feel to this that's kind of unpleasant. There's a slight amount of peat, but not a whole lot.
This is medium bodied, with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. Not all that drinkable.
This had many problems that kept it from being a good beer.
