16oz can poured into a tulip
No canning date
A- pours a hazy orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that has decent retention
S- mostly citrus on the nose; orange zest, grapefruit and tangerine, Pez candy, not as bold as a typical NE style
T- fairly muted up front with just a hint of bitterness. Mid-palate starts to bring out some citrusy hop notes of tangerine and orange zest, as well as undertones of peach gummy rings. The finish brings out some juicy citrus, that continues into the linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp finish
O- not as juicy as the breweries that set the bench mark, but very enjoyable regardless

More Citra he said...
Deep murky Orange color. Nice white foamy head. Decent lacing.
Citra for sure. Traces of Galaxy but mostly citra. Smooth and a bit sweet but has enough bitterness to not become cloying.
Pretty good actually. Not a NEIPA but something I wouldn't mind revisiting once in a while.

Darker gold with a fine haze. Good head which settles to a fine layer of bubbles. Thicker streaks for lace.
Fresh raw hop aroma -- like the bittering smell of a hop pellet.
The taste starts slightly to the dry side but the straight-up bitterness kicks in quickly and lasts through to the long aftertaste. Fuller bodied but with ample carbonation, relatively smooth. Chewy finish.

$ 3.00 (Including tax)/16 oz can ($ 0.188/oz) from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. Reviewed 4/6/19.
Undated can in reefer at store. Stored upside down at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Orange, hazy, opaque.
Head – Large (Maximum 7.8 cm, aggressive center pour), off-white, low density, average retention, diminishing to a three to eight mm lacy ring of tiny to medium bubbles, a thin complete cap, and three-dimensional pieces of lacing around the rim.
Lacing – Good. Irregular three-dimensional bands of tiny to small bubbles. See also above.
First pour – Yellow, hazy.
Aroma – 3.5 - Weak citrus, mostly orange, and a hint of pepper. This fades to nothing.
Flavor – 3.5 – Unoffensive and slightly citrus-based, bitterness is hardly noticeable. No alcohol (6.9 % ABV), no dimethylsulfide, no diacetyl.
Palate – 3.75 – Medium, almost creamy, soft carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 3.5 - Looks “dirty” rather than juice-like, so somewhat unappealing. However, the head and lacing are good. The aroma is enticing but short-lived. The flavor is bland and unimaginative, less than an orange-flavored Tums tablet. The palate is good. Overall, this is an OK NEIPA but certainly not outstanding – priced just about right.
