a - pours a dark ruby/brown with little head and little to no lacing (maybe because the girl poured it this time)
s - smells immediately of alcohol, then hints of dark fruit and spice
t - dark fruits, some kind of roastiness, and hints of spices that i can't quite pinpoint individually
m - a little syrupy at first, fairly full-bodied, with a nice carbonated finish
d - i could toss back a couple for sure.
Similar to Ommegang Three Philosophers with less taste complexities, less fruit, more spice, and less alcohol...lol so maybe not that similar but that's what it's reminding me of at the moment....
As it warms the subtle tastes start to pop out a bit. I like.
