No canned on date. I can tell it was once hoppy by the lingering ibus but given the lack of hop aroma all together I presume this is quite old.

Not sure how I try this fresh though since they don't (or at least not legibly) date their shit.

One of the better beers I discovered this summer. That face logo on the bottle caps still freaks me out though.

Cloudy, unfiltered gold color with a nice fluffy white head. Looks friendly. Nice lace and retention. Pungent aroma of tropical fruit and peppery floral hop. Tastes like potpourri hops which come accompanied by a thick, dank hop oil mouthfeel. Produces satisfying hoppy burps.

Best I've had from Ithaca thus far.

Poured from bottle to NB Globe.

Thanks to Vince for this one.

Appearance - Pours a very hazy orange with some nice gold/yellow glow. Pours with a 1 finger fluffy white head that dissipates rather quickly and leaves a ton of lacing.

Smell - Lots of resiny and piney hops in the nose. Has some nice earthy and grassy qualities. The malt backbone is there and very evident. That all too familiar malty caramel and biscuity back end can be found.

Taste - This has the nice pine and earthy hops, with a tiny bit of citrus mainly as a hint of grapefruit. This beer has a great bitter bite but is lacking a bit in the hop flavor. Still a great tasting beer. Meets some great biscuity and sweet malt with a touch of sweetness and then a nice bitter and a bit dry finish.

Mouthfeel - The weight of this beer is pretty nice, and the beer is not abrasive nor smooth, it's right in the middle and good at that. The carbonation seems good, maybe a bit overcarbonated.

Drinkability - This one could be consumed relatively heavy, I could do a few and possibly a 6 pack fairly easy I am assuming. Can't seem to find the alcohol anywhere.

A sweet and floral IPA that lives up to its name.

The first time I tried this beer it was to much for me to like. I have since grown to love IPA's and this one deserves to be in the top 5 for anyone that loves to drink IPA's. It has a great smell of flowers and fruits. It really has a strong hoppy taste to it and goes toward the border of overkill but stops short of it. It does have a good balance in its flavor and is easy to drink. I would suggest not to try this one if you are just starting to drink IPA's.
