Poured for my bottle into a snifter at around 45°F

Appearance: Hazy orange color with a one finger off white head that quickly dissipates.

Smell: Hop extract or resin; Heavy pine and citrus notes

Taste: Bright grapefruit and citrus flavors with floral undertones accompanied by pale malts that keep everything in check. Resiny

Mouthfeel: Light and smooth with moderate bitterness

Overall: This is a great IPA. Very full flavored for the style and smooth and not too bitter which I like. This reminds me of a Lagunitas beer. I will definitely keep my eye out for more of this this summer. Highly recommended

Poured from a 12oz bottle, bottled 140221.

Nice chilled haze on a golden body with a solid 3-4 fingers of foam; sticky lacing clings. Sticky and sweet hops in the aroma. Flavor is nice, pineapple, tropical fruit, touch of papaya, very juicy. Clean and refreshing, a very tasty IPA!

Pours a slightly hazy golden copper with a frothy cream head that leaves sticky lacing as it slowly dissipates.

Pine, resin, floral hops, tangerine, pineapple, and mango accompany slightly sweet caramel malt to form the aroma.

Flavor reveals a toasted, slightly sweet caramel malt backbone, with underpinnings of tart lime, tangerine, mango, and grapefruit pith adding complexity. The finish is earthy, bready, and moderately bitter. Floral notes emerge late.

Body and carbonation are moderate, with light alcohol warmth and a slightly astringent, lingering finish.

Good hop complexity, with just a little more bitterness than I'd prefer, though I do like the fact that malt has a noted presence.
