12oz bottle poured into Spiegelau tulip.

A: Pours a hazy marmalade-orange with a finger of off-white head.

S: Very tropical. Pineapple, grapefruit, and honey.

T: Bitter pine up front, followed by pineapple, tangerine, and grapefruit.

M: Slick medium body with moderate carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy.

O: Top notch. Incredibly drinkable. If this were distro'd in my area, it would definitely be my go-to IPA.

Had this on-tap at the surprisingly good local tap-list at our hotel in Rye Brook, New York. So good that I ignored the rest of the list and had a second. A very well balanced IPA with citrus and pine, a touch of sweetness reminiscent of honeycomb, and a satisfyingly crisp finish. Very fresh tasting and full bodied while also being thirst quenching. I could drink this all of the time if it were local.

Bottle at The Wheel in Pottsville on 9/6/17. Reviewed from notes, had many times in the past, but only rated.

Golden yellow body with a big white head, leaving excellent lacing.

Aroma is a mix of floral and hops, with just a hint of citrus.

Always enjoy the taste of this one, not an all out hop assault, but a nice balance between the floral and citrus hops with a solid malt background.

A little above medium on the mouth, more citrus than floral on the finish.

Overall, a very good standard IPA which I dont visit often enough. (Sigh, so much beer, so little time)
