A - Orange, mostly transparent, with a near white head that forms and clears out quickly but leaves fairly elaborate lacing.

S - Strong hop resin, with pine and citrus. More orange than grapefruit. Some herbal and floral notes to round things out.

T - A range of hop fruit elements. First is a strong tropical thread, mango and passion-fruit. Second comes a line of orange. Also apricot and peach elements. There is a slight malt sweetness lurking around, but this is mostly a hop show. As we close, the inevitable turn to the bitter is significant and lingering.

M - The feel is a bit more drying than some beers working this territory, but not such that it poses a challenge. Decent carbonation ensures there isn't too much of a build as you make your way through a glass.

O - I had heard good things, so when I got to Ohio and had a chance, I picked a six-pack up. Glad I did - this is a great take on the IPA, and stands up nicely against Stone, Lagunitas and other standard-bearers of the style.
